View From Hill
Here is the view towards Baltimore from the top of the hill where Ardagh Castle once stood.
This is the Main House, the Holiday Cottage and the Dairy and Parlour. The hill to the rear is where the old look-out castle was sited. Today there only a small mound with some foundations still showing on the summit.

Here is the owners garden at the back of the cottage. There are some chickens tucked away in the background.
This is the field below the main goat shed with some Anglo-Nubian and British Saanen goats. In the background there are a couple chickens scratching through the dung heap.

Wwoofer And Woofer!
Here is a Wwoofer with another type of woofer outside the holiday cottage.
This is Tadgh the dog asleep on the doorstep of the holiday cottage. The iron wheelbarrow was rescued from an old farm yard in Devon England and could well be the most well travelled wheelbarrow in West Cork!
Korey And Basil
This is one of the billy goats called Basil in conference with one of the Wwoofers that has been to stay.
This is a photo of nearby Lough Ine. With it's crystal clear water and unique marine life it is a conservation area of world wide interest. For more information about Lough Ine click here .

Saanen Kids
To keep the goats producing milk they need to give birth to their kids. Here is a British Saanen kid with it's mother in the main goat shed.
Here is another of the residents, George. He is a Maran cockerel. He likes hanging out in the main goat shed to scratch about in the straw looking for food.
